At 6.30pm you are invited to a baptism service at St Barnabas’ church in Swanland. Please note there is no evening service at All Saints.

O Lord, we beseech you mercifully to hear the prayers of your people who call upon you; and grant that they may both perceive and know what things they ought to do, and also may have grace and power faithfully to fulfil them; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the
Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

DAY OF PRAYER

On Tuesday 30 September we shall be meeting to pray throughout the day from 9am. Please join us as we bring our thanks and concerns to God for his provision for the church family here in North Ferriby and in the world.

COMMUNITY ADVANCE PROGRAMME (CAP) PAKISTAN

10 days ago several of us appreciated a moving evening learning from Kaleem Dean of CAP about the opportunities and needs in the Lahore area of Pakistan (as witnessed by our own Zahidi Mansoor). If any one would like to give to support the work (especially the new school for poor brick workers’ children) donations can be made for CAP through The Starfish Asia fund. Gift aid forms are available at back of church or go to http://www.starfishasia.com/SAFnews.htm. Donations can also be given to Matthew.

HOME GROUPS

The home groups are about to start their autumn programmes and if you are interested in joining a group this is a good time to do so. In the first instance please talk to Revd. Matthew Brailsford.
